This tutorial applies to L1s & L1m.
Walk Assist helps you walk the bike easier,  whether on level ground or when walking uphill.

Activate and Use Walk Assist

1. Make sure the bike is in ECO / AUTO / STD / TURBO assist level.

2. Press and hold the Assist button.

The display shows"Ready for Walk Assist".

3. Start moving the bike forward or backward to activate Walk Assist. 

Note: 
- When Walk Assist is activated, the assist level cannot be changed using Up/Down button.
- Walk Assist helps pushing forward easily. It will not provide assistance for pushing bike backward.

4.Keep holding the Assist button while using Walk Assist.

Note:
- The motor does not provide assistance while the bike is in the Ready for Walk Assist state.
- If no movement is detected within 10 seconds, the Walk Assist exits automatically.

Pause Walk Assist

Release the Assist button to pause Walk Assist.
When Walk Assist is paused:
- The display shows "Walk Assist Paused", a 10s countdown pop-up.

- The motor stops providing walk assistance.
- The bike provides a holding force to help prevent it from rolling backward, which is called Hill Hold state.

Resume Walk Assist

Press and hold the Assist button again.

Return to normal riding

Exit Walk Assist and return to the selected assist level (ECO / AUTO / STD / TURBO) when:
- Assist button is released during Ready for Walk Assist.
- The Ready for Walk Assist timer expires.
- Pedal force is detected during Walk Assist.

Exit Hill Hold state and return to the selected assist level (ECO / AUTO / STD / TURBO) when:
- Walk Assist Paused timer expires.
- You press the Left button.
- Pedal force is detected.
- The bike reaches a speed of 3 km/h.
