How to Store Your TARRAN E-Bike Properly?
Applicable models: L1s&m, T1 Pro
Storing your bike for winter? Clean and dry it, choose a suitable location, and prepare the battery for storage.
Key reminder: Remove mud and road salt. Never leave the battery empty for an extended period.
Clean and Dry the Bike
1. Switch off the bike and remove the battery.
2. Clean the bike with lukewarm water and a soft sponge. Use a bicycle cleaner if needed.
3. Gently wipe the battery and electrical components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid excess moisture.
4. Dry the bike with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. Keep all charging ports dry.
Do not use pressure washers, steam cleaners, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners. Never immerse electrical components in water.
Keep cleaning and care products away from brake discs and pads.
Choose a Suitable Location
Store the bike in a clean, dry, well-ventilated place, ideally at 10–20°C (50–68°F).
1. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials.
2. Choose a location with a working smoke alarm.
3. Follow the storage temperature limits for all components. A garage or shed is suitable only if it meets these requirements.
Remove and Store the Battery
Remove the battery for long-term storage. Keep it dry and disconnect it from the charger.
