Add a Shared Owner

This tutorial applies to T1 Pro, L1s and L1m.

1. Overview

Share your bike with family or friends by inviting them as Shared Owners.
They can access and use the bike with their own TARRAN account, while you stay in control of ownership and permissions.

2. Before You Start

  • The bike must already be bound to the Primary Owner account.
  • The invited user must have a TARRAN account.
  • Internet connection is required.
  • Update TARRAN app to Ver.1.5.0 or later versions.

3. Primary Owner vs. Shared Owner

1. Can not enter/exit lost mode
2. Cannot view the bike's location in Find My unless the Primary Owner grants access to the live location.
Ride records Sync to the account. Sync to the Primary Owner's account.


4. Add a Shared Owner

  • Owner (Phone A): Primary account bound to the car.
  • Shared Owner (Phone B): Guest account receiving access.

Step 1 - Generate QR Code

1. Open App and tap Settings ---> Key & Access.

2. Tap Owners ---> Invite, and a QR Code generates.


Step 2 - Scan to apply

[Phone B]

1. Open TARRAN app and log in your account.

2. Tap Settings ---> Key & Access ---> Add your bike.

3. Scan the QR code on phone A and then confirm the invitation pop-up.

Step 3 - Confirm Authorization

After Phone B scans successfully, Phone A will receive a pop-up (as shown below).

Check the "Shared" tag to the right of the vehicle name on the dashboard page to confirm access is granted.
