Warranty Policy
Overview
This Limited Warranty Policy applies exclusively to Tarran products purchased directly from the Tarran official online store or an authorized Tarran dealer for personal use, not for resale. Products purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers or unofficial channels are not eligible for warranty coverage. By using Tarran products, you agree to adhere to the terms outlined in this policy.
Tarran provides the following warranty coverage:
- Five-year warranty on the frame.
- Two-year warranty on other components against material or manufacturing defects under normal use.
Important Notes
- The warranty period begins on the day following the product's delivery date. If a valid proof of purchase (e.g., invoice) cannot be provided, the warranty period will commence 90 days after the product's manufacturing date, unless otherwise agreed upon between you and Tarran.
- Regular wear and tear from normal use is NOT covered under this warranty.
- Battery capacity naturally diminishes over time with charge cycles, and this reduction is NOT covered by the warranty.
Eligibility for Warranty Service
Under this Limited Warranty Policy, Tarran guarantees that each Tarran product you purchase will be free from material and workmanship defects under normal use, as outlined in Tarran's published product materials, during the warranty period. To qualify for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:
- The product has been used normally, without signs of external damage, and in accordance with Tarran's safety instructions and operational guidelines.
- The product has not been subjected to unauthorized disassembly, modification, or alterations outside the official manual guidelines, and no failure has resulted from improper handling or human error.
- The warranty claim is made within the applicable warranty period.
- Valid proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice, or order number) is provided.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
If your Tarran product does not function as warranted during the warranty period, please contact Tarran Customer Support at service@Tarranbikes.com to initiate a warranty claim. You will need to provide valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order number (for purchases made through the Tarran online store).
Tarran will attempt to diagnose and resolve the issue remotely via phone, email, or online chat. You may be directed to download and install specific software updates to address the problem.
If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, you may be required to take the product to an authorized Tarran service center for further inspection. Tarran will arrange for repair or replacement services at no cost if the issue falls within the scope of this Limited Warranty.
Important Note
- After Tarran conducts troubleshooting or inspection and confirms that the issue falls within the warranty, Tarran will cover the after-sales service costs, including material costs, labor inspection and repair fees, and logistics expenses. Otherwise, the user will be responsible for the after-sales service costs.
- To avoid data loss, please remove the TF card before visiting an authorized Tarran service center.
